Clients Blackbox ranked No. 641 on the 2026 Inc. 5000. Inc. published the list on August 11. We grew revenue 536% over three years.

The number is not the interesting part. How we got it is.

We sell marketing to an industry that does not believe in marketing

We run paid media for firms in financial services. We started with registered investment advisors and independent advisory firms. Today we also work with investment firms, private credit firms, and insurance businesses. One industry, one set of problems, and we know it better than we know anything else.

Most agencies will not touch this space. I understand why.

Look at who else buys advertising. A consumer packaged goods brand spends tens of millions a year without a second thought. A direct to consumer ecommerce company spends a million a month and understands Meta better than most agencies do. Those buyers do not need convincing. They need better execution.

Law firms are the sharpest example. Morgan and Morgan spends 600 million dollars a year on advertising. That is one firm. There is no advisory company in America that spends anything close to it, including the largest ones. John Morgan talks about advertising the way an investor talks about an asset class. Money goes in, a known amount comes out, so he puts more in.

Nobody in financial services talks like that.

Most firms I meet have already tried something and watched it fail. They bought leads that never answered the phone. They paid for a website that produced nothing. They filled a seminar room with people who were never going to sign. By the time I get there, I am the fifth person to make a promise about marketing, and the first four were wrong.

The budgets match the belief. A firm doing well might set aside a few thousand a month and expect to lose it.

So the work starts two steps earlier than it would anywhere else. First we have to explain why a firm in this industry should spend on marketing at all. Then we have to explain why that money belongs in Meta instead of another seminar, another lead list, or another push for referrals.

That is the hardest part of running this company. It is also the moat.

The difficulty is the moat

Every year we spend teaching this industry about marketing is a year our competitors are not spending. None of it transfers in from outside. An agency that runs great ads for supplements walks into an advisory firm and has no idea what compliance review does to a timeline, or why a prospect who fills out a form in March signs paperwork in September.

We learned it one account at a time. That is why the growth holds.

Four things I do differently now than when I started.

We stopped leading with cost per lead. It moves easily and it flatters everyone. Cheap leads that never book a meeting do more damage than expensive ones that do, because they burn your team's calendar and teach your firm that marketing does not work. We report booked appointments. That number connects to revenue.

We make firms pick one audience. The accounts that perform say one thing to one group of people. The accounts that stall try to reach everyone with money.

We write for compliance before we write the ad. Most campaigns in this industry die because the creative gets built first and reviewed second. Starting inside the rules looks slower on a calendar and ships faster in reality.

We tell firms the timeline they do not want to hear. Buying cycles here run long. If you are going to judge the campaign in two weeks, do not hire us.

Who we want next

We are hiring paid media strategists, and beyond that we want marketers who could work anywhere and would rather work on something difficult. There are a thousand agencies where you can run ads for a brand with an unlimited budget and an audience that already trusts advertising. There is almost nobody writing the playbook for this industry.

To the firms who signed with us early, when we had no case studies and nothing to show but an argument: thank you. Several of you are still here.

FAQ

Answers based on what we've seen drive top performance across years of data.

How long until we see results?
chevron icon

First appointments typically hit the calendar within the first 1–2 weeks after launch. Month one is optimization. Month two is when things stabilize and become predictable.

What’s the time commitment from our team?
chevron icon

2–3 hours of video recording every 3–6 months. That’s it. We handle everything else.

How does compliance work?
chevron icon

We’ve worked with over 200 RIAs and their compliance departments. We know what gets approved under Special Ad Category restrictions. We build compliant from the start and coordinate directly with your team.

What’s the investment?
chevron icon

Total marketing budget starts at $17,500 per month and ranges up to $120,000 depending on your goals, ad spend included. Engagements run on a 12 month minimum.

Do you guarantee results?
chevron icon

No. And you should be skeptical of any agency that does. Guarantees in this space are a red flag — they’re selling you a feeling, not a strategy. What we offer is a proven methodology, a team that’s managed over $10 million in Meta ad spend for RIAs, and a track record of $3 billion in closed AUM across 200+ firms. The firms that follow our methodology and commit to the process see results. That’s why we’re selective about who we work with.

How is this different from other agencies?
chevron icon

Most agencies try to do everything — Google, email, social, websites — and they’re mediocre at all of it. We only do Meta Ads for financial firms. We’ve spent over $10 million in this exact channel under Special Ad Category restrictions. We know what works because it’s all we do.

What if we already have a marketing team or agency?
chevron icon

Good. Most of our clients do. We’re not replacing your marketing person or your agency. We’re adding the one capability they probably don’t have: Meta Ads at scale with branded video for financial services under Special Ad Category. We plug in alongside whatever else you’re running.

Do you do Google Ads, SEO, or websites?
chevron icon

No. We do Meta Ads. That’s our entire focus. If you need those other services, we’re happy to recommend partners, but that’s not what we do.
