The challenge

A Nationwide Vision Stalled by Broken Digital Economics

The founder of this independent RIA had spent decades building a retirement planning practice that served thousands of families locally. His firm had earned Inc. 5000 recognition, a spot on Fox Business, and the kind of reputation that only comes from doing the work for 30+ years. The local playbook was proven. The vision was bigger: build a nationwide retirement planning firm powered by digital client acquisition.

The problem was everything he tried to make that vision work had failed. He had invested in webinars, lead magnets, traditional VSL funnels, and multiple agencies. For a while, some of it worked. Then Meta’s Andromeda update and the financial services ad category restrictions hit, and his cost per meeting exploded from $250 to over $500 per initial fit call. At that price, after accounting for no shows and close rates, the acquisition economics simply broke. The firm was spending more to get a client in the door than the client was worth in the first year.

So the founder pulled back. He returned to dinner seminars and library classes, the channels that had always worked locally. But seminars don’t scale nationwide. Momentum slowed. Team morale dipped. The advisors who had been hired to handle digital leads were sitting with open calendars. The confidence that this firm could become something bigger was fading fast.

OUR APPROACH

Five Campaigns, One Philosophy, Zero Guesswork

When the founder reached out, he had one question: how are you still making Meta ads work for RIAs after Andromeda? We walked him through what was working for other firms spending tens of thousands per month profitably in retirement planning, and he committed. The original target was $40,000 for February. Then, days before launch, he pushed it to $60,000 because he wanted to make up for lost time. The catch: after compliance approvals and creative production, we had only 19 effective advertising days to deploy that budget from a cold start with no historical pixel data.

We did not launch one funnel and hope it worked. We launched five distinct campaigns simultaneously, each built around a different retirement income angle, a different emotional hook, and a different educational framing. All five were rooted in the founder’s book, his proprietary philosophy around bucket planning, and the specific analogies and case studies that made his approach unique. Our copywriting team dissected his content, scripted everything word for word, got compliance approval within a day, and had everything recorded, edited, and live in under four weeks.

297 ads launched Across five campaigns, the most we have ever launched for a single client, built to absorb $60K in 19 days

The strategy was deliberate capital allocation, not hope. We knew that of the five campaigns, one to two would carry the scale at or below our $250 cost per meeting target. Two to three would serve as strategic retargeting support. And one would likely underperform and get shut down quickly. By spending enough on each campaign in the first few days to gather reliable data, we could identify the winners fast, reallocate budget aggressively, and double down on what was working. Our media buyers were inside the account every single day, optimizing in real time rather than waiting weeks to take action.

THE results

Record Appointments, Record Confidence, a Record Year on the Horizon

By day five, we were in KPI. By day 12, we spent $7,000 in a single day and booked 35 retirement appointments at $200 per meeting. By day 17, the firm had 267 appointments on the books at a $222 average cost, exceeding the 240 appointment target by 27 meetings. The final February numbers landed at $63,300 spent, 288 total appointments booked, and a $219 average cost per meeting, beating the $250 target by 12%.

But the numbers only tell part of the story. Internally, the firm’s energy shifted. The BDR team reported that leads from these campaigns showed up more frequently, were higher quality, and arrived already educated about the firm’s philosophy and what the first meeting would cover. By March, 86% of leads who attended their calls fell within the firm’s target asset range of $500K to $3M, the best ratio the operations lead had ever tracked. The founder described the month as the turning point. His advisors had full calendars again. The team believed in the digital channel again. And instead of pulling back spend, the firm asked to increase their March budget and begin planning for $100,000 to $120,000 per month as they hired more advisors to handle the volume.

FAQ

In publishing and graphic design, Lorem ipsum is a placeholder text commonly used to demonstrate the visual form of a document or a typeface.

How long until we see results?
chevron icon

First appointments typically hit the calendar within the first 1–2 weeks after launch. Month one is optimization. Month two is when things stabilize and become predictable.

What’s the time commitment from our team?
chevron icon

2–3 hours of video recording every 3–6 months. That’s it. We handle everything else.

How does compliance work?
chevron icon

We’ve worked with over 200 RIAs and their compliance departments. We know what gets approved under Special Ad Category restrictions. We build compliant from the start and coordinate directly with your team.

What’s the investment?
chevron icon

Total minimum marketing budget starts around $15,000 to $45,000 per month depending on your goals. We’ll get specific on the call.

Do you guarantee results?
chevron icon

No. And you should be skeptical of any agency that does. Guarantees in this space are a red flag — they’re selling you a feeling, not a strategy. What we offer is a proven methodology, a team that’s managed over $10 million in Meta ad spend for RIAs, and a track record of $3 billion in closed AUM across 200+ firms. The firms that follow our methodology and commit to the process see results. That’s why we’re selective about who we work with.

How is this different from other agencies?
chevron icon

Most agencies try to do everything — Google, email, social, websites — and they’re mediocre at all of it. We only do Meta Ads for financial firms. We’ve spent over $10 million in this exact channel under Special Ad Category restrictions. We know what works because it’s all we do.

What if we already have a marketing team or agency?
chevron icon

Good. Most of our clients do. We’re not replacing your marketing person or your agency. We’re adding the one capability they probably don’t have: Meta Ads at scale with branded video for financial services under Special Ad Category. We plug in alongside whatever else you’re running.

Do you do Google Ads, SEO, or websites?
chevron icon

No. We do Meta Ads. That’s our entire focus. If you need those other services, we’re happy to recommend partners, but that’s not what we do.
